What if you could count on every team member to step up and say, “I’ve Got This?

When your team feels emotionally invested in your company’s vision and values, they will naturally take 100% personal responsibility to ensure the best product or service is provided to your customers.

They will step up and take the initiative to find solutions without being asked. And they will engage each other in peer-to-peer accountability conversations.

It’s this “extra-mile” mentality that distinguishes good teams from great teams.

“The staff really responded to setting a higher vision”

“The four sessions did help our leadership team work together as a group. The staff really responded to setting a higher vision for their position in the firm, setting higher goals for themselves, and emphasizing business development moving forward.”

JOAN RENNER, Partner/Shareholder at Renner & Company

Leaders often talk about accountability as the magic bullet to organizational success. But trying to promote accountability without leveraging personal responsibility leads to buck-passing, finger-pointing, and CYA behavior.

We help companies develop and leverage the personal responsibility of individuals to create a team of first responders — not bystanders — who take inspired action to find solutions and hold themselves accountable to deliver results that exceed your customers’ expectations.

Accountability Vs. Personal Responsibility

We believe the pathway to achieving accountability is through personal responsibility. Without a sense of personal responsibility for results, “holding people accountable” can quickly devolve into blame and finger-pointing when things get missed. Here’s why.

Accountability is measuring or judging results you’ve already gotten (past tense)

the problem with accountability is that it’s reactive and can also feel like blame

personal responsibility is an emotional investment in delivery results right  now (present tense)

when all team members feel responsible for results, the will engage to find  solutions rather than blame each otheR

Why Choose Us

We believe 100% personal responsibility is the linchpin of business performance.

When your employees take personal responsibility to deliver results, inspired action and innovation follow….leading to unparalleled results.

And because responsibility is in our DNA, we are the natural choice to develop this trait in your team.

About Our CEO, Christine Springer

Christine honed her influencing and deep-listening skills on the front lines of healthcare. As a physical therapist, she had to quickly gain trust and buy-in from her patients in order to inspire the behavioral changes required to achieve results.

As she rose through the ranks, she served for 7 years as the director of a large orthopedic clinic in Austin, Texas. It was there that she learned the importance of: having a team that’s aligned toward a common vision, empowering critical thinking and timely decision-making, and using values-based hiring as a cornerstone of building a strong organizational culture.

Under her direction, her clinic was recognized as a “Best of Austin” business multiple years in a row.

In 2014, she made the leap into consulting to bring her field-tested methods and insights to a wider scope of organizations. Clients praise her ability to identify the root cause of complex culture problems, and offer simple, actionable suggestions that deliver results.

Christine received a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Texas Woman’s University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin. She is a Certified Martha Beck Coach. She is also authorized partner for Wiley’s Everything Disc Products and Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team.

Outside of work, she can be found hiking, swimming, wine tasting, or chilling out with her sweet but lazy greyhound, Jasper, who is also nicknamed Fluffy (long story).

And If you ever get an out of office message, it’s highly likely she’s in one of 3 places: Magic Meadows Trail in Crested Butte, Colorado; the courtyard of Michel-Schlumberger winery in Sonoma, California; or the floating dock outside Hotel Imperial Tremantano in Sorrento, Italy.
